BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

I was born on Thanksgiving Day (November 25th). I grew up in Amherst County and actually attended Temple until 6th grade. I was saved at the age of 17 at a youth event, and for that I am eternally grateful. I graduated high school from what was then Lynchburg Christian Academy. I later received a Bachelor of Science in Business from Liberty University. After some years in the workforce, I realized I wanted a more fulfilling career. I went back to school and recived a Master of Arts in Teaching: Elementary Education.

LIFE VERSE

Romans 8:38-39  “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught for six years in Amherst County Public Schools. This will be my third-year teaching 5th grade at Temple. I have experience teaching kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 5th grade. Math is my favorite subject to teach.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT TEACHING

Connecting with my students and forming relationships with then. I love working together to help them set goals for themselves, and then seeing the joy and excitement on their faces when they meet a goal.
