BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

I was born in Norfolk, Va. three months early on December 28, 1988.  I grew up in Smithfield, Va. where all the hams come from.  My sibling and I were homeschooled  for eight years while my mother was in medical school, then we attended a Christian academy where I  graduated.  I  played softball, cheerleading, and volleyball through middle and high school.  We also were brought up in a strong Christian home and were involved in all church functions.  I attended GA camp, VBS, and Christian summer camp where I later became a counselor.  I was involved in a youth group that did a lot of mission trips, and local support missions like soup kitchens and walking around neighborhoods to share the love of Christ to kids and their families.  After high school I  attended Liberty University where I met my husband.

HOBBIES

I love to garden, sew, art and relaxng on the beach.  My husband and I want to start trying hiking more often.

INTERESTING FACTS

I have to have my morning coffee to function, love the color green, and I get great joy giving to others, and providing my home for fellowship.

WHAT I ENJOY ABOUT TEACHING

My favorite part of teaching is watching the little ones grow to come to love learning and the Lord.  It is so amazing to see how much they want and need to soak up in such a small time.   Knowing that I  am helping and am a part of their growth is such a joy!
