
Miss. Makaila Henderson
I have lived in the Lynchburg area my entire life. From kindergarten through twelfth grade, I attended Temple Christian School, graduating as valedictorian of the class of 2020. At Liberty University, I double majored in Elementary Education and Theatre Arts, as well as minored in dance.
LIFE VERSE

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Throughout my degree completion, I did practicums at Thomas Jefferson Elementary, Dearington Elementary, and Madison Heights Elementary. I completed a semester of student teaching first grade at Paul Munro Elementary. I also have experience substituting, tutoring, and assisting students in theatrical productions with choreography and singing.
FAMILY
I have two amazing parents, Rick and Annette Henderson. Also, I have three older half-siblings, Ricky, Nickey, and Tarah who live in Indiana. At home, I have a sweet 14 year old Chihuahua named Chico
WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT TEACHING
What I like most about incorporating mu other passions – singing, dancing, acting-into my classroom which helps foster student engagement as well as create fun memories.
