Meet the Teachers

I was born in Uniontown, PA, on January 17.  I was raised in Gibbon Glade, PA.  I accepted Christ at the age of five in Sunday school class.  I was blessed with Godly parents who provided a strong Christian home.  I received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College, in Pensacola, FL.

LIFE VERSE

It is hard to choose just one, but at this point in my life I Corinthians 10:31 stands out.  “Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught for six years at Chestnut Ridge Christian Academy in Uniontown, PA.  This will be my seventeenth year at TCS.

FAMILY

I met my husband, Jack, at a Boy Scout Camp in PA, where I worked during the summers.  We were married on September 5, 1992.  Our son, Liam, is a paramedic/firefighter. Our daugther, Emily, is a teacher and is married to our wonderful son-in=law Nathan

HOBBIES

I enjoy reading, and spending time with my family.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT TEACHING

I love the daily interaction with children.  It is so rewarding to watch students learn and grow throughout the year, academically as well as, spiritually.  I am so thankful that God has given me the opportunity to daily have a positive impact on the lives of children.
