Miss Emily Coates
I was born in Winchester, Virginia on May 5, 1986. For the first seven years of my life, my family lived in Martinsburg, West Virginia. My dad’s job transferred him here to Lynchburg and I spent the next 20 years here! I was saved in kindergarten, led by my Aunt Susan who was my teacher. I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2009 in Elementary Education. In 2014 I earned my master’s degree in Special Education. I moved to Taipei, Taiwan and taught 3rd grade from 2014 to 2021!
LIFE VERSE
II Corinthians 4:16-18 “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseeen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
